DHCT is the provider of choice for many social care employers in Cornwall supporting recruitment and training for care workers who may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres or some clinical healthcare settings.
Who’s it for?
This qualification is for a registered manager of a service, unit, deputy or assistant manager. They will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of the care given and the values and training of staff with established standards and regulations.

Delivery Model:
Blended delivery including; one to one support with an occupationally competent tutor, and virtual learning environment
End Point Assessment (EPA)
EPA is completed by an External Pearson Awarding Body Assessor. Learner completes:
– Observation in practice
– Professional Discussion
The learner must complete the EPA to achieve the full programme.
Duration: 15 months
Cost: Non Levy Employers pay a Contribution of 5% which is £350. The Government will fund 95%. Please view our funding page for further information
